How to Easily Select an Area Rug for Your Home
I begin each interior design project working from the floor to the ceiling. Part of that initial phase includes not only selecting new flooring materials but also area rugs. How to Make Your Bed Look Designer-Level in 6 Steps
I’ve always been fascinated with bed linens, and I enjoy dressing my bed every day. I’m real particular on how the sheets are put on the bed (the top sheet should be right side down, making it right side up when you fold it over – yes, I’m that picky).
This might come as a shock, but…
1. I like cotton sheets with 200-300 thread count. Higher thread counts don’t breathe as well. Honestly, my favorite sheets come from Target.
2. I also like the sheets to feel crisp. Back in my younger days, I would line dry and iron them. Oh, to have the time to do that now!
No matter the type of sheets, the fun part to me is all the pieces that go into bed linens. In fact, the bed linens make your bed the main feature in your bedroom.Read More
