Top Most Beautiful Kitchen Appliances for Every Budget

John just bought his first house, and it is a disaster. He needs to remodel just about everything, including the kitchen. Since John just blew most of his savings on that mortgage down payment, his budget is tight, leaving him with around $25,000 to remodel his kitchen.

Joan, on the other hand, has lived in her house for decades. The kids are moving out, her Mom is moving in, and she wants to remodel the kitchen. Since Joan just finished paying for two college tuitions, her budget has been generously increased. She has about $75,000 to remodel her kitchen.

Judy is moving into her dream house and needs to update it. The kitchen hasn’t been touched since 1970. She has about $150,000 to remodel her kitchen.

Best Kitchen Appliances Budget for Your Remodel

New appliances will consume 20% of your total kitchen remodel budget.

 John’s appliance budget – $5,000

Joan’s appliance budget – $15,000

Judy’s appliance budget – $30,000

Best Kitchen Appliances Type

How do you use your kitchen? This question must be answered to help determine the best type of appliances for your new kitchen.

Here are some prompts to get you started:

  • Do you cook every day?

  • Do you like to bake?

  • Do you consider yourself the Next Top Chef?

  • Is the microwave your best friend?

  • It doesn’t make sense to buy a high end cooktop if you tend to eat out and rely on the microwave.

  • If you like to bake often, you might want a double oven.

  • If your home is party central every Saturday night, you may want a great icemaker.

When we design kitchens, we always ask you to fill out an extensive questionnaire that pin points how you use your kitchen so that you purchase best kitchen appliances for the way you live.

Here is what we would pick for John, Joan, and Judy.

Best Kitchen Appliances for How You Use Your Kitchen

Best-budget-Kitchen-Appliance- Package.png

John’s appliance package is from Frigidaire and is the best kitchen appliance package for his small budget. We were able to get him a gas range, a microwave / vent combination, and a refrigerator with an in-door ice dispenser.

Joan’s appliance package is from Viking. Joan wants something different from her neighbors, so we picked this graphic gray finish for her. It is smudge resistant and will contrast nicely with her new white quartz countertops. An under-counter microwave drawer will tuck into the end of the island, which will be easier for Mom to access. We selected double ovens to keep up with Joan’s love of baking and added a refrigerator with a pullout freezer drawer on the bottom. This reminds her of her grandmother’s home, and she loved to sneak popsicles out of that drawer when she was a kid. This refrigerator makes Joan feel happy, and that is important to us.

Judy’s Appliance Package is from Thermador. Judy wanted a thoroughly modern and robust kitchen. She cooks every day, making the 48″ gas range with a griddle and grill an absolute must-have. Her youngest daughter loves to bake and has even won some local contests with her special cupcakes, making multiple ovens a must.

Designer Tip:

While each of these appliance packages are beautiful, not everyone loves a stainless steel finish. Consider these appliances with a twist:

I specified this appliance package for a kitchen remodel that is underway right now. GE’s chef inspired Café Series is so luxurious with the matte white finish and handles and knobs in four metallic finishes. We adore the brushed bronze handles. When coupled with white cabinets and bronze pulls or white quartz countertops with bronze plumbing fixtures, you’re sure to look chic in your kitchen.

This budget kitchen looks great with budget kitchen appliances. The pebble backsplash tile is inexpensive, but adds just the right amount of texture and pattern. Two toned cabinets with stained cabinets on the bottom in a walnut stained alder and upper cabinets in a laminate looks expensive, but isn’t. Simple white quartz cabinets with no reveal looks classy

This high end kitchen is stunning with a black and chrome range. The massive hood is the focal point. But square backsplash tiles don’t compete with it. The kitchen table in the middle of the kitchen is a great idea.
